Group Getaways

Bring your people. We will help bring the trip together.

A group vacation can turn shared interests, milestone moments and long-overdue time together into memories everyone talks about for years. Susan and Heather help you choose the right experience, organize the moving pieces and explore the group benefits that may be available.

You do not need a final guest list or a fully formed plan. A shared idea and a few interested travelers are enough to begin the conversation.
An easy place to begin

Forming a group is easier than you think.

Start by inviting a few people who would genuinely enjoy the experience. They may invite another couple, friend or family member—and before long, the idea can become a group.

You do not need a final guest list before speaking with us. Susan and Heather can help you test the idea, understand the likely investment and create a clear invitation before anyone makes a commitment.

Start With Your Idea
01

Begin with a shared interest

A destination, celebration, hobby or long-overdue chance to travel together is enough.

02

Invite your first few travelers

Start with the people most likely to say yes. The circle can grow naturally from there.

03

Let us make it easy to join

We clarify the trip, answer individual questions and help every traveler understand the next step.

A reason to gather

The best group trips begin with connection—not a headcount.

Perhaps it is a milestone birthday, a family reunion, a golf getaway, a wine-focused river cruise or simply a group of friends who keep saying, “We should take a trip together.” The right group vacation gives everyone something to look forward to while making room for shared moments and individual choice.

The goal is not for everyone to do everything together. It is to create a vacation where everyone can enjoy being together.

Why travel as a group?

More than a vacation on the same dates

A well-planned group gives you the joy of traveling together without asking one person to carry every planning detail.

01

Shared memories feel different

Experiencing a new place with people you know adds conversation, laughter and stories that continue long after everyone returns home.

02

One clearer planning process

We help organize choices, explain deadlines and keep the group moving forward without turning the group leader into a full-time travel coordinator.

03

Potential group value

Depending on the supplier and group terms, there may be special pricing, amenities, credits, held space or other benefits worth comparing.

04

Room for different preferences

Travelers may choose different cabin or room categories, excursions and activity levels while still sharing the heart of the experience.

05

Possibilities beyond the package

We can help consider private experiences, group dining, pre- or post-trip stays, transfers and thoughtful touches that bring people together.

06

Support for every traveler

Susan and Heather can answer individual questions and help explain the travel details, so the host does not have to be everyone’s only resource.

More travelers may create more possibilities

What “group benefits” can actually mean

Group programs are not identical. The most valuable option is not always the biggest discount—it may be better inventory, a meaningful amenity, a private moment together or a benefit that helps the host.

Important: Group minimums, pricing, bonuses and amenities vary by supplier, departure, travel dates, group size, inventory and contract terms. We will explain what is actually available before you make a decision.
Group pricing or protected space

Some programs may offer group rates or allow qualifying space to be held for a defined period while travelers decide.

Amenities or credits

Eligible groups may have a choice of onboard credit, included extras, event options or other value-added amenities.

Host or leader benefits

Some suppliers offer benefits based on the number of qualifying bookings. We can explain how they are earned and how they may be used.

Private group moments

When available, a private excursion, reception, dinner or transfer can give the group time together without structuring every day.

How might the group use an earned benefit?

Depending on the supplier and group agreement, qualifying benefits may be shared among travelers, used toward a special experience everyone can enjoy, or provided to the organizer. Susan and Heather will explain the available choices clearly so the group can decide what feels most meaningful.

Who would you bring?

Your group does not need to fit one mold

Choose the idea that feels closest. The guidance will change to show what we would consider first.

A helpful starting point

Friends and couples

A river cruise, small-ship voyage, resort stay, rail journey or guided tour can create an easy balance of together time and personal choice. We would begin with pace, atmosphere, room preferences and the experiences everyone has in common.

Want help inviting more travelers?

We can help you share the idea—without making it feel like a sales pitch.

Some hosts already know exactly who they want to invite. Others would like to open the trip to a wider circle so more travelers can join and the group may qualify for additional value.

If you would like help promoting the getaway, Susan and Heather can help shape the message and make the opportunity easier to understand.

Clear, inviting trip language that explains why the experience is special
A shareable webpage, flyer, email wording or social post when appropriate
Accurate details about pricing, inclusions, deadlines and availability
A direct contact for interested travelers who have individual questions
Choose the right way to travel

The destination matters. So does how your group experiences it.

We help compare the style, inclusions, pace and logistics—not simply the advertised price.

Helpful questions

Before you decide whether a group trip is right for you

How many travelers do we need to be considered a group?

It depends on the cruise line, tour company, resort and specific program. Some count rooms or cabins rather than individual travelers. Tell us what you are considering, and we will check the actual requirements.

Does everyone have to book the same room or cabin category?

Often, no. Many groups can include different room or cabin categories, subject to availability and the supplier’s group agreement. We will explain which choices can remain flexible.

Are group rates always lower than individual promotions?

Not always. A public promotion may occasionally be stronger, while a group program may offer different value or more useful terms. We compare the available options rather than assuming one is automatically better.

Do I have to collect everyone’s payments?

No—that is our job. Susan and Heather work directly with each traveler, answer questions, explain deadlines and help keep the details organized. The host can enjoy bringing everyone together without becoming the group’s travel agent. The exact payment process remains subject to the supplier’s procedures.

Can you help us add private experiences or time before and after the trip?

Yes. Depending on the destination and group, we can help consider hotels, transfers, private sightseeing, group dining and pre- or post-trip options that complement the main vacation.

What if I only have an idea and do not know who will join?

That is a perfectly good place to begin. Start with a few people who would genuinely enjoy the experience; they may invite another couple, friend or family member. You do not need a final guest list before we explore whether the concept, dates and likely investment make sense.

Start with a conversation

Who would you love to travel with?

Tell Susan or Heather what you are imagining. We will help you understand what is realistic, what group value may be available and what the next step should be.

Group pricing, amenities, credits, bonuses and host benefits are subject to supplier rules, eligibility, inventory, group size, travel dates and current contract terms.
